Surprise Engagement: Matt and Teri

We loved working with Matt and Teri and wanted to share their engagement story, and beautiful video of the session.

Matt finally surprise's Teri!:

Teri called us  several weeks ago looking for a photographer to do her engagement portraits.  She had been researching photographers on-line and decided we were the right studio for her.  However,   she was worried because she wasn't sure when her ring would be ready. She decided to book anyway, because that was the only opportunity she and  Matt had to get it done.  

Matt has never been able to surprise Teri, but he thought he would give it one more chance. Matt found out the name of our studio and secretly called us to let us know that the ring would be done and he wanted to surprise her and officially ask her to marry him.  We worked together to create a fun picnic set with her favorite champaign and fun snacks and we were ready to go! 

 Teri and Matt started their engagement photos without Teri's ring,  Matt was so nervous for the first 1/2 but once we got to the picnic set he started to relax!  After a few moments Matt got down on one knee, with the beautiful ring and proposed. and we got it all on camera! You can see from both of their smiles they were so happy and we loved capturing the magic as it unfolded. 

Teri was SO surprised! And so was Matt- he had never been able to pull anything off like this before.

It was a happy time for all, and we were able to finish off the session with images of Teri and Matt and her stunning ring!
